What is a Draft Room?

「Draft Room」is a tool that automatically allocates items or roles based on everyone's preferences to maximize overall satisfaction.

The organizer (Room creator) follows the same rules as everyone else and cannot see the results or individual preferences in advance. There is no hidden information accessible only to the organizer, ensuring total fairness. Depending on the release type, results are revealed to everyone at the same time via the shared URL, ensuring a completely fair allocation.

Allocation Rules

We ensure a fair and optimized allocation based on the following rules:

  1. Primary Preference Priority
First, we process all "1st Choice" preferences simultaneously. If demand exceeds capacity for an item, a fair automated draw determines the successful applicants.
  2. Subsequent Preference Matching
Those not assigned their 1st choice are then matched with their "2nd Choice," and so on. Matching only occurs for items with remaining capacity. If multiple people compete for the same remaining spot at the same preference level, a fair draw is conducted. This continues until all preferences are processed.
  3. "Prioritize Others" Feature
Checking "Prioritize Others" means that if you compete for the same item at the same preference level, others who haven't checked this box will be prioritized. This is designed for those who have a preference but are willing to yield to others with stronger feelings.
(Example: Your 1st choice will be lower priority than someone else's 1st choice who didn't check the box, but it still ranks higher than anyone's 2nd choice.)
  4. Final Random Allocation
Anyone who couldn't be matched with any of their specified preferences will be randomly assigned to any remaining open slots. In "Member Selection" mode, those who fail to submit preferences will also be randomly assigned to the leftover slots.

*This logic eliminates individual bias and ensures the highest possible collective satisfaction.

True Fairness with Cryptographic Strength

Draft Room utilizes cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generation (CSPRNG), the same standard used in modern secure communications. Mathematically backed unpredictability completely eliminates external manipulation or bias, providing the highest level of fairness.
