Fair assignments based on the following rules
- 1. Priority on 1st Choices
Everyone's 1st choice is processed first. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, winners are decided by a fair random selection. - 2. Rolling Allocations
Those who miss their 1st choice proceed to their 2nd choice. They are entered into the random selection for their 2nd choice only if slots remain. This process repeats until everyone is assigned or choices are exhausted. - 3. 'Yield to Others' Option
Participants can check "Yield to Others" when submitting. If a tie-breaking selection occurs for the same rank, priority is given to those who did not check this box. Use this if you are willing to let others go first.
(e.g., Your 1st choice has lower priority than someone else's 1st choice, but higher priority than someone else's 2nd choice.) - 4. Final Adjustment
Anyone unmatched after all preferences are processed will be randomly assigned to remaining slots.
